CURRENT PROJECTS - CANADA
ENTECH-REM - Brant
ENTECH-REM CANADA is proud to be part of the Brant County "Green Energy Hub" initiative by bringing a state-of-the-art recycling and renewable energy facility to the County of Brant. The proposed facility is designed to maximize recycling efforts by recovering all recycling materials and converting the remaining residual waste into clean renewable energy utilizing the ENTECH WtGAS™ - Advanced Conversion Technology.
Currently, the project is in the environmental assessment, planning and permitting phase of development. The proposed facility is to be located on approximately 25 acres in the Heavy Industrial area and part of a newly designated Green Energy Hub at the corner of Oak Park Rd. and Powerline Rd. and is less than 1 KM from Hwy 403 supporting short-haul transport of materials to the site. The property is bordered on the north side by CN Rail and is in close proximity to two hydro transformer stations for connection to the electricity grid.
The new facility proposes to help attract economic stimulus to the area and compliment the joint efforts of The County of Brant and Six Nations as part of a Green Energy initiative by providing local jobs during development and construction, operational jobs once the facility is completed and will help attract new energy related technologies and businesses to the area.
REM has community support from Mayor Ron Eddie and Councilors, Brant MPP David Levac, Brantford – Brant Chamber of Commerce and Brant County Power.
