Generate Energy

The ENTECH process of firing Syn-Gas produces thermal energy in the form of high temperature-high pressure steam sufficient to drive a steam turbine generator and provide steam and hot water to a district heating system to provide neighbouring facilities with building heat, hot water and process heat requirements, enabling maximum use of renewable energy utilization.

The parasitic load from our Advanced Conversion Technologies (ACT) plant is very low in comparison to the EFW process providing higher efficiencies and lower operational costs, thus maximizing the net energy output for sale as renewable energy and contributing to the financial sustainability of the Solution.

The ENTECH process is modularized and is designed as standard sized thermal output units which are simply added together to increase total waste processed and thermal energy output. This standardized design emanates from 20 years experience providing a proven track record of various sized units. The standardized process line consists of four operational modules and one spare used during regular scheduled maintenance – providing for 100% up time for the systems.

Electrical generators are also designed in modularized sizes to provide electricity generation during maintenance times, together with the ENTECH process the plants operate 24/7 - 365 days per year however electricity output is reduced during turbine and generator maintenance.
